Pengaruh Locus of Control Terhadap Prestasi Akademik Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Yarsi

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh antara locus of control terhadap prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa FEB Universitas YARSI. Prestasi akademik merupakan alat ukur akan hasil aktivitas belajar yang di laksanakan oleh mahasiswa, dan locus of control merupakan keyakinan seseorang atau mahasiswa terhadap nasib yang diterimanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan desain penelitian asosiatif. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 83 mahasiswa aktif FEB Universitas YARSI, dengan simple random sampling digunakan dalam pemilihan sampel. Data dianalisi dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi pada aplikasi SPSS.  Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan analisis hubungan antar variabel menunjukan adanya pengaruh locus of control secara signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan lebih besarnya hasil signifikansi sebesar 0,003 (p < 0,05). dan dengan nilai r square sebesar 0,344.  Sumbangsih locus of control terhadap prestasi akademik sebesar 34.4%. Yang memberikan arti dengan semakin yakinnya mahasiswa atas apa yang terjadi dalam dirinya, akan mempengaruhi prestasi akademik yang didapatkan setiap mahasiswa
