Abstrak

Parent-child relationship adalah suatu kualitas hubungan yang terbentuk dari interaksi anak dengan orang tuanya yang diukur melalui kualitas komunikasi (comunication), kepercayaan (trust), dan kemarahan dan keterasingan (anger and alienation). Saat ini skala untuk mengukur hubungan anak dengan orang tuanya versi Indonesia masih terbatas. Untuk itu penelitian ini akan mengadaptasi skala Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA) dari Armsden dan Greenberg (1987) .  Adaptasi alat ukur dari bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Indonesia yang dilakukan berpedoman pada panduan International Test Commission (ITC). Sampel penelitian ini melibatkan 333  siswa SMP dari dua sekolah di Yogyakarta. Hasil uji CFA skala father child relationship menunjukkan  23 aitem yang diuji memiliki  standardized  loading factor  (SLF) bergerak dari  0.02 – 0.80. Hasil uji CFA menunjukkan ada  10 aitem yang gugur berdasarkan nilai SLF di bawah  0.50. nilai goodness of fit dari skala father child relationship  menunjukkan model yang fit (RMSEA= 0.059, CFI= .982, TLI= 975). Hasil uji CFA skala mother child relationship menunjukkan  21 aitem yang diuji memiliki  standardized  loading factor  (SLF) bergerak dari  0.05 – 0.84. Hasil uji CFA menunjukkan ada 8 aitem yang digugurkan berdasarkan nilai SLF di bawah  0.50. Hasil goodnes of fit skala mother child relationship yang menunjukkan model fit yang sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa adaptasi skala IPPA  menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan dan dapat digunakan dalam konteks Indonesia.
