Pengaruh Kepuasan Pernikahan terhadap Kepuasan Hidup Pasien Kanker Dewasa Muda

Kanker merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular dengan angka kematian tertinggi. Diagnosa kanker tidak hanya menyerang fisik tetapi juga menyerang psikologis individu mulai dari semenjak diagnosa hingga dalam pengobatannya yang membuat tingkat depresi pasien kanker meningkat saat sedang menjalani pengobatan. Diagnosa kanker pada umur dewasa muda juga menimbulkan kekhawatiran dan stressor tersendiri karena fase dewasa muda adalah fase dimana individu membangun karir dan keluarga. Hal-hal ini akhirnya dapat menurunkan kepuasan hidup pasien kanker. Salah satu faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan hidup adalah pernikahan. Hubungan romantis dengan pasangan dikatakan dapat mempengaruhi optimisme dan makna hidup pasien kanker sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepuasan hidup seseorang. Dengan demikian, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh kepuasan pernikahan terhadap kepuasan hidup pada pasien kanker dewasa muda (20-40 tahun) di Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelatif yang menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 31 partisipan yang didapatkan melalui teknik sampel convenience dan snowballing. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepuasan pernikahan terhadap kepuasan hidup pasien kanker dewasa muda.
