Peran Mindfulness terhadap Relasi Perceived stress dan Kesejahteraan Psikologis Pada Mahasiswa

Abstrak

Mahasiswa berada pada tahap masa transisi dan penting untuk mencapai kesejahteraan psikologis yang optimal, namun terdapat mahasiswa yang merasakan stress dan berdampak pada kesejahteraan psikologisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran variabel mindfulness sebagai mediator relasi perceived stress dan kesejahteraan psikologis pada mahasiswa Universitas Dhyana Pura, Badung, Bali. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Dhyana Pura dan sampel penelitian sebesar 333 mahasiswa Universitas Dhyana Pura. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala kesejahteraan psikologis yang diadaptasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia oleh Engger (2015), perceived stress scale milik Cohen, Kamarck, & Mermelstein (1983), dan five facet mindfulness questionnaire-15 dari Baer, Smith, Lykins, Button, Krietemeyer, Sauer, Walsh, Duggan, & Williams (2008). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi mediasi Hayes dengan Macro Process. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mindfulness berperan sebagai variabel mediator parsial dalam hubungan antara perceived stress dan kesejahteraan psikologis. Dengan demikian, mahasiswa penting untuk mengembangkan mindfulnessnya agar dapat mereduksi stress dan menjaga kesejahteraan psikologis.
