Hubungan Antara Meaning of Work dan Komitmen Organisasi Pada Perawat dengan Kepuasan Kerja Sebagai Mediator

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara meaning of work dan komitmen organisasi pada perawat yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 214 perawat dengan masa bekerja minimal selama satu tahun di rumah sakit. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala (1) The Work and Meaning Inventory (WAMI), Organization Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ), dan (3) Skala Kepuasan Kerja dari Scale for the Measurement of Some Work Attitudes and Aspects of Psychological Well-Being. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meaning of work memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja juga memiliki hubungan positif dengan komitmen organisasi. Hasil analisis data menggunakan analisis simpel mediator model 4 dari PROCESS by Hayes (2012) menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja berperan signifikan sebagai mediasi parsial pada hubungan antara meaning of work dan komitmen organisasi pada perawat. Artinya, perawat yang memiliki kepuasan kerja tinggi belum tentu memiliki komitmen organisasi tinggi. Sebaliknya, perawat yang memiliki kepuasan kerja rendah belum tentu memiliki komitmen organisasi rendah. Oleh karena itu, meaning of work yang dimiliki perawat lebih memiliki pengaruh terhadap tinggi rendahnya komitmen organisasi.Referensi
