Adaptasi Alat Ukur Emotional Leadership untuk Mengukur Kapabilitas Kecerdasan Emosional Pimpinan Perusahaan di Indonesia

Dalam berdirinya suatu perusahaan, pasti terdapat pemimpin yang mengarahkan geraknya roda dan seluruh sumberdaya di dalamnya untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Pemimpin yang efektif adalah pemimpin yang mampu mengelola emosinya dengan baik dalam segala kondisi yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan. Keefktifan pimpinan tersebut, lebih besar membutuhkan peranan kecerdasan emosional dirinya daripada kecerdasan secara intelektual. Maka, perlu diketahui bagaimana dinamika dan skala kapabilitas kecerdasan emosional pimpinan agar dapat digunakan sebagai bahan evaluasi dan intervensi. Emotional leadership questionnaire (ELQ) pertama kali dikembangkan di Finlandia pada tahun 2011 dan belum pernah dilakukan adaptasi di Indonesia. Tujuan adaptasi alat ukur ELQ di Indonesia adalah untuk mengenalkan istilah dan mengembangkan alat ukur baru yang bermanfaat di bidang industri perusahaan. Adaptasi dilakukan kepada 171 karyawan yang memberikan penilaian atas sikap, emosi, dan perilaku atasannya. Hasil dari adaptasi didapatkan nilai reliabilitas cronbach’s alpha 0,968 dan RMSEA melalui uji CFA dengan nilai 0,078 serta reliabilitas person-item berdasarkan uji Rasch model sebesar 0,95 dan 0,93 yang menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur reliabel, valid, dan benar dapat mengukur konstruk emotional leadership dengan baik dan konsisten sehingga siap untuk digunakan dalam pengumpulan data berulang.
