Dukungan Sosial Online Bagi Penyintas Pelecehan Seksual: Sebuah Tinjauan Pustaka

Abstract

Pelecehan seksual merupakan segala bentuk tindakan seksual yang tidak diinginkan oleh penerima. Pelecehan seksual dapat dilakukan oleh siapapun dan kapanpun, baik secara offline maupun online. Pelecehan seksual memberikan dampak psikologis yang ringan hingga berat yang mengganggu kualitas dan kepuasan hidup dari penyintas pelecehan seksual. Pada masa pandemi COVID-19, aktivitas secara online sudah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan manusia. Dukungan sosial online dari masyarakat umum banyak dilakukan kepada penyintas yang mengungkapkan peristiwa pelecehan di media sosial. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai peran dukungan sosial di internet terhadap penyintas pelecehan seksual. Artikel ini didasarkan pada tinjauan literatur dan jurnal penelitian yang diperoleh dari situs Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, dan SAGE Publisher. Hasil yang diperoleh pada tinjauan pustaka ini adalah dukungan sosial online menyediakan dukungan informasi, dukungan emosional, dan dukungan retributif kepada penyintas pelecehan seksual. Namun, dukungan sosial online yang diberikan oleh masyarakat, tidak terlalu berdampak positif kepada penyintas pelecehan seksual.
