Faktor-faktor Psikososiospiritual sebagai Prediktor terhadap Psychological Well-being Pasien Stroke

Whether individuals take steps to cope with the adversities they face after suffered from stroke may depend on their psychological well-being. However, little is known about the determinants of psychological well-being in these patients. This study is to identify the relations of psychosocial spiritual factors with psychological well-being among patients with stroke. For this purpose, quantitative method were used to examined the relationship between social support, meaning of life, religiosity and psychological well-being among stroke patients in Jakarta. The quantitative sample of the study consisted of 32 patients of Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. Data collection instruments used in the quantitative study included, a demographic data form, psychological well-being scale, social support scale, religiosity scale, and PIL Test. The analysis of data included assessments of normality, reliability, correlations, and regression analyses. The results showed generally all participants have high level of religiosity, perceived social support, and meaning of life. The analysis also revealed that Meaning of Life, Social Support, and Religiosity have contributed 43% of variance in totality. The results have shown the commonness of three variables viz., social support, meaning of life and religiosity in predicting the psychological well-being. These findings are discussed with reference to methodological issues, implications, and possible further research.
