Keluarga bahagia berkaitan erat dengan masalah keturunan, namun tidak semua pasangan suami istri dapat memiliki keturunan dengan mudah karena kondisi infertilitas. Infertilitas bukan hanya berpengaruh pada pernikahan tetapi juga dapat menyebabkan psychological crisis berupa stres yang disebut infertility-related stress. Oleh karena ini perlu suatu tindakan dari diri sendiri untuk mengatasi stresor infertilitas. Self-compassion merupakan bentuk kemampuan individu dalam mengatasi stres dengan cara lebih adaptif. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui hubungan self-compassion dengan infertility-related stress pada dewasa awal yang mengalami infertilitas di Bali. Metode penelitian adalah metode kuantitatif dengan tipe korelasional. Jumlah partisipan penelitian ini sebanyak 119 orang yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran infertility-related stress dengan alat ukur yang diadaptasi dari Copenhagen Multi-Centre Psychosocial Infertility-Fertility Problem Stress Scale (COMPI-FPSS). Pengukuran self-compassion dengan Self Compassion Scale (SCS) yang sebelumnya sudah diadaptasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self-compassion dengan infertility-related stress pada dewasa awal yang mengalami infertilitas di Bali.
