Penelitianini bertujuanuntukmelihatperan efikasidiridalamkeputusankarier sebagai mediator antara parental career-related behavior danvocational exploration commitment pada pilihan karier remaja. Penelitian inimerupakan penelitiankuantitatifyang melibatkan siswaSMA diJakarta Selatan sebanyak N=315 partisipan. Vocational exploration commitment diukur dengan Commitment to Career Choice Scale (CCCS), untuk dimensivocational, efikasidiri dalam keputusan karierdiukurdengan Career Decision Self-Efficacy Short Form(CDSE-SF),sertauntuk persepsi anak terhadap perilaku orang tua terkait karier diukurdengan Parental Career-Related Behaviors (PCB). Untuk analisis regresi bergandadigunakanprogramSPSSdanPROCESSHAYES,untukmengujihipotesispenelitian.Hasilpenelitianmenunjukkanbahwaparental career-related behaviors yang mendukung, ikut campur, dan kurangterlibatberpengaruhsignifikanpadakomitmenterhadapvocational exploration and commitment melalui efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier (p<0,05). Hasil penelitianini menunjukkanpentingnyadukunganorangtuaterhadappersiapankarierremajasehinggamerekalebihyakinakankemampuannyadalamkeputusankariernya,sehingga dapatlebihberkomitmen terhadappilihankariermereka.Penelitianini memilikiketerbatasankarenatidakmembedakanantara peran ayah dan ibu pada pengukuran parental career-related behaviors, oleh karena itu dalam penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat membedakan kedua peran tersebut.Downloads
