Gambaran Penggunaan Obat Antidepressant Terhadap Penderita Gangguan Depresi di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Periode Januari-Juni 2017

Latar Belakang : Depresi termasuk dalam gangguan mental yang paling sering ditemukan. Menurut konsensus ahli depresi dapat diterapi menggunakan obat antidepresan. Dalam penggunaannya, obat antidepresan dilihat memiliki banyak memiliki efek samping yang diberikan terhadap pasien.
Metode : Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk melihat obat-obatan antidepresan yang digunakan sebagai terapi pada pasien gangguan depresi mayor di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara retrospektif.
Hasil : Hasil ditulis dalam bentuk tabel, dengan data yang didapatkan adalah data persebaran distribusi pasien gangguan depresi mayor berdasarkan jenis kelamin, usia, klasifikasi gangguan depresi mayor, varian golongan antidepresan, dan penggunaan obat tambahan selain antidepresan.
Kesimpulan : Didapatkan bahwa penggunaan obat antidepresan terbanyak merupakan obat antidepresan dari golongan Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI) dengan jenis terapi polifarmasi.
