Hubungan antara Fungsi Kognitif dengan Kejadian Depresi pada Lansia di Posyandu Lansia Kelurahan Rambutan Kecamatan Ciracas Kota Jakarta Timur dan Tinjauannya Menurut Pandangan Islam

Abstract

KATA KUNCI          Lansia, Fungsi Kognitif, Depresi, hubungan, gangguan.

ABSTRAK                 Proses penuaan pada lansia mampu mengakibatkan degeneratif pada fungsi fisiologis, kognitif, psikologis, dan sosial. Beberapa individu yang mengalami kesulitan dan tidak dapat beradaptasi dengan keadaan ini dapat menyebabkan terjadinya depresi. Studi ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara fungsi kognitif dan tingkat depresi pada lansia di Posyandu Lansia Kelurahan Rambutan, Jakarta Timur. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan memakai jenis penelitian analitik mengenakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data diambil memakai kuisioner MMSE (Mini Mental State Examination) beserta GDS (Geriatric Depression Scale), serta dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS versi 27.0. setelahnya, data dilakukan analisis mengenakan analisis Univariat beserta Bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan prevalensi gangguan kognitif terhadap lansia di Posyandu Lansia Kelurahan Rambutan Kecamatan Ciracas Kota Jakarta Timur diketahui bahwa 84 lansia yang diwawancarai, terdapat 31 responden mengenakan tingkat fungsi kognitif normal beserta 53 responden mempunyai gangguan fungsi kognitif. Prevalensi tingkat depresi normal sebanyak 57 responden dan 27 responden lainnya mengalami depresi. Analisis bivariat memperlihatkan bahwasannya adanya  hubungan diantara fungsi kognitif pada kejadian depresi. Hasil memperlihatkan adanya hubungan diantara fungsi kognitif terhadap depresi, dimana seseorang yang mengalami depresi, maka akan mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga keseimbangan pikiran. Dalam pandangan islam, terdapat hubungan diantara fungsi kognitif terhadap depresi, dimana seseorang yang mengalami depresi, maka akan mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara pikiran untuk memercayai kehendak Allah SWT dan membuatnya merasa khawatir.

ABSTRACT               The aging process in the elderly can cause degeneration in physiological, cognitive, psychological and social functions. Some individuals who experience difficulties and cannot adapt to this situation can cause depression. This study explores the relationship between cognitive function and the Occurrence depression in the elderly at the Posyandu for the Elderly, Rambutan Village, East Jakarta. This research uses analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected using the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) questionnaires, and analyzed using the SPSS version 27.0 program. Next, the research data was analyzed using Univariate and Bivariate analysis. The results of the research show the prevalence of cognitive impairment in the elderly at the Posyandu for the Elderly, Rambutan Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta City. It is known that of the 84 elderly people who were interviewed, there were 31 respondents with a normal level of cognitive function and 53 respondents with impaired cognitive function. The prevalence of normal levels of depression was 57 respondents and 27 other respondents experienced depression. Bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between cognitive function and depression level. The result, there is a relationship between cognitive function and depression, where someone who is depressed will experience difficulty in maintaining a balance between thoughts of trusting. In the Islamic view, there is a relationship between cognitive function and depression, where someone who is depressed will experience difficulty in maintaining a balance between thoughts of trusting the will of Allah SWT and making him feel worried.
